Mr. Dwayne and Darnell Whitaker both graduated in 2002 from East Central High School (ECHS) located in the historic district of Tulsa, Ok. While at ECHS both excelled academically while active athletes. Dwayne and Darnell where both integral members for 4 years at ECHS. They both realized that they would not be afforded many career opportunities without attending college. After speaking with academic advisors and mentors, and receiving guidance from family and friends, they both decided to attend Southern Nazarene University (SNU).

While at SNU they both continue a childhood dream of playing football, but most importantly, fulfilling an academic commitment of graduating with there degree. After college they immediately started to pursue aspirations of becoming coaches in the local area. While coaching youth in Tulsa, they were immediately recognized by other coaches which landed them at prominent high schools in the area.

They both coached at Tulsa Memorial for 3 years, and Broken Arrow High School. While at Broken Arrow High School, they were essential in assisting the football program to there first state championship in school history in 2018. In 2019. They moved to Kellyville High School.

Over the last 10 years Dwayne and Darnell have been afforded opportunities to train and oversee professional development for multiple men and women on a number of occasions. They have created a platform and a global network that reaches students in the classroom and in sports. Some come from broken homes, some are socially bankrupt, but Dwayne and Darnell develop meaningful and therapeutic relationships, and helps create a professional atmosphere using appropriate leadership skills.

Moreover, their contagious, jovial personality, commitment to family, and disciple-like work ethic—clearly informed by their spiritual foundation combined with a Gospel narrative—continues to serve as an inspiration for many of student athletes who have had the privilege of working with Dwayne and Darnell
